Physocarpus opulifolius Diabolo

Height: 1,2–1,5 m

Physocarpus Diabolo is a compact ornamental shrub that grows to a height of about 1.5-2 m. Its leaves are dark burgundy and lobed, and its flowers bloom at the end of May, resembling snowball blossoms. Its fruit is a red berry. It likes a sunny or partly shaded spot and well-structured, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate. After flowering, it is worth pruning out the old branches. It can be planted as a specimen plant or as an unpruned hedge.
